But Ted C. is a gossip columnist. Anything goes in his kind of job, fabricated or not. And reeling in people is a part of his job. Making it sound like the woman who's garnering the most media attention now means people will pay more attention to his other columns. It definitely makes for a good and confusing read.

Here's the deal... none of us actually see her or know her personally, or interact with her on a regular basis. So we have no way of knowing what her true personality/state of mind is like. Heroin is a tricky thing, and there are many MANY addicts (I have known and dated a few, unforch) who use to maintain a normal attitude and personality and to avoid withdrawl symptoms.

Drug addicts...it's in the blood. That's why it's called addiction. She admits it herself. Addicts are not what you can consider reliable for honesty or reliability. Sure she admits it but I wouldn't equate that with being honest.
