I totally agree with Pink and Libbylib. To quote Padme in StarWars epidode 3 "so this is how liberty dies ...with thunderous applause". It might just be words from a movie but the sentament is very approprate here. It is sad that Germany has not learned from it's past mistakes to be more tolerent. Whatever you might think about Tom or his religion you must realise that this is how intolerance starts and then spreads quickly. Ban one and then like dominoes all will follow . I don't understand why everyone is freaking out about Tom Cruise's so called rights in Germany. Germany is a Socialist Republic. There is no separation of church and state. The polizei can beat you if you get out of line and you can't do a thing about it. They censor content and it is illegal to own certain books and movies if you live in the country. WAKE UP PEOPLE. I agree that everyone has a right to believe what they want. And I have a right to feel what I want to about their beliefs. It's my view that any "pay to play" religion is plain old idiotic. Sounds like the scam of all scams to me. While the catholic church and other churches do strongly recommend a tithe (general percentage of your income that they expect or want you to donate to the church), there is no requirement to pay to be a part of the church. Although they did used to sell tickets to heaven...
