The relationship between Britney or Lynne Spears seems to be completely out of control. Britney Spears is seemingly one of the most paranoid people in the business right now. So much so that Britney is apparently going to file a restraining order against her mother, to keep Lynne away from her two sons.
Britney claims Lynne is abusing prescription pain medication and should not be allowed to see 21-month-old Sean Preston and nine-month-old Jayden James.Britney is said to be furious with Lynne for visiting Sean Preston and Jayden James at her estranged husband Kevin Federline's home. She believes Lynne and Kevin forced her to enter rehab earlier this year to seek help for her alleged alcohol addiction and post-natal depression. Britney is also said to be livid that her mother sided with Kevin during the couple's custody battle.

Lynne recently claimed her relationship with her daughter was improving, but insisted Britney still had a long way to go before overcoming her problems.She said: "It's sad that the whole world had to watch her make mistakes that all of us have made at one time or another. Britney Jean Spears is the sweetest and the most sensitive and loving of all my children. She is figuring things out."
I think the "she is figuring things out" comment is a total understatement. She has a hell of a long way to go. If she wasn't shipped off to rehab, the girl would be an even bigger mess than she is right now. Here is what Britney needs to do - stay out of the paparazzi eye for at least three months, get some REAL counseling, and spend some one on one time with your kids. Oh, and please, please hire a stylist!

Britney checked out mentally a long time ago. She's not going to go anywhere as long as people are looking at her. At one time, I thought she was pretty entertaining and a good artist. Something about having kids made her insane. I think her postpartnum depression is the same level as that of Andrea Yates. BS's kids need to be taken away, all jokes aside. I personally think K Fed was the worst thing to ever happen to her. Up until she met him she seemed to have her career under control and she looked good. It all went on a downward spiral after he made an appearnace.
She doesn't seem to have recovered from the divorce and it looks like she trusts no one now. It's probably really hard being the one earning all the bucks and having loads of people leeching off you. you would never know who is genuine or not. I hope she sorts herself out. I like this Cheeto Monster in spite of everything.

What does Britney expect her mother to do? She's a grandma for heaven's sake. Of course she wants to spend time with the little grandbabies. Britney has a lot of growing up to do. She's so angry with Federline until she really wishes she could cut him out of her life entirely, but she can't because of the boys. Should've thought of that when she was thinking it was cute to get pregnant so soon. That's how it goes. She'd better learn to deal with it or else the anger and bitterness will cause a complete breakdown.
Federline loves all of his children. The mother of his other children still praises him as a good father. Personally, I believe Britney's boys are better off with Federline than without him... certainly better than any male lovers Britney is likely to bring home.

Jessica is right, Brittney needs to disappear for a while and get some real counseling. Maybe she needs to be away from her mom for a while, we don't know what transpired between those two. Seems to me, her mom may be a lot of her problem-she has always appeared to be the ultimate stage mom and I can only guess how hard she pushed Brittney. The kid was on the road 24/7 for most of her teenage years, when she should have been having some normal fun. Instead, she traveled all over the place lead by a control freak who was supposed to be looking out for her. She might be rich, but what good does it do her if she can't get a toe-hold in life? I hope she gets some counseling...

Heck yes, she needs professional counseling long-term, but remember - Britney was fine with her mother all these years. Her mom was her biggest supporter when she was living a normal existence. Her mom doesn't agree with her antics anymore, so Britney is pitching a hissy fit.
Britney wants things her way or no way. She is a strong-willed child.
