During her CNN interview with Larry King, Paris Hilton expressed an interest in working with the organization, Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Clearly, her hope is that her participation with the nonprofit would serve as a vestige of the sober, responsible lifestyle she's hoping to promote after having had grudgingly spent time in jail for violating her probation, that stemmed from a DUI charge. But MADD doesn't sound too keen on working with Paris, at least not until she's proven herself to be genuine in her contrition.
"Typically, we've only worked with high-profile figures if there's true responsibility for those actions," Moyse said, adding that, as far as she knew, MADD hasn't yet heard from anyone representing Hilton, nor has the organization reached out to Hilton.I have a sneaking suspicion that Paris' interest in MADD is just a fad. Too bad, so sad. She's got a history of behaving like a cad. Would you like some mustard? Just a tad. My friend works at GLAAD. OK, I'm done attempting to channel Dr. Seuss.
