Believe it or not, Courtney Love is forty-three years old as of Tuesday. But I have a feeling that if we did some carbon sampling, we'd find that she's done enough shizznit to have aged herself way past that, bless her heart. At least her face and boobs are fairly new. The former Hole singer celebrated her birthday with a small concert for fans in London. At the low-key venue, Bush Hall, Courtney performed some old Hole standbys "Malibu," "Doll Parts," and "Celebrity Skin," but was mostly focused on her new material from her new album entitled, "Nobody's Daughter." During her birthday gig, she debuted her song, "Letter to God," which was co-written by pop/rock songwriting guru, Linda Perry. The fact that she wasn't found at the end of the night curled up with a homeless man in a cardboard box makes it sound like she had a pretty successful birthday. But there was one thing that disappointed Courtney on her special day, the UK's recent smoking ban.
"The only place I can smoke in England is the House of Parliament. How retarded is that?"OMG, that would be the perfect impetus for a reality show, Courtney attempting to run for office, just so she can enjoy her cigarettes in Parliament. Someone, make it so.
