...so she can rule over New Jersey with an iron fist. Just kidding, of course. Because if that were actually the prize of winning a beauty pageant, I would have tried to get in on that action back in the day. After Amy Polumbo first announced that she was being blackmailed by an individual who had attained some very mildly racy pictures of the beauty queen getting her party on from her Facebook account and was threatening to go public with them, Polumbo decided the best way to diffuse the situation was to show the pictures on the Today show. The pix were nothing compared to a Friday night spent in Hollywood, but as Miss New Jersey herself describes them, portrayed her behaving "not in a ladylike manner." Taking that into consideration, the pageant officials decided to allow Polumbo to retain her crown.
"I'm very happy about this decision, and I look forward to resuming my agenda as Miss New Jersey," said a smiling Polumbo, who blew kisses to audience members during the announcement.Somewhere, Tara Connor is looking up from a puddle of her own sick, slurring, "You call that a scandal? Please, back in elementary school--" before passing back out on the floor. Just kidding! She went to rehab and is all better now! Yay!

Ellie says:
I have to say she does not look like beauty pageant material. Just being honest ...
Darth Paul says:
Word up, Ellie. This lady is not all that. Good figure, OK face...but not "great." Then again, I don't think most beauty pageant contestants are real beauties...too cookie-cutter and insipid.
lookwhaticando says:
She looks like Jennifer Garner
Michelle says:
I think she's gorgeous, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. :] Anyway I'm very glad they let her keep her crown because those pictures were NOTHING. I don't know much about her as a person/beauty queen but the principle of it all was stupid, she had clothes on in every picture. If anything it sheds GOOD light on pageant people cause it shows some have a sense of humor :)
peachpie says:
she looks quite beautiful. particularly since the above photo is obviously a candid - catching her at a moment that shows her concern & worry about keeping a crown she obviously wanted very badly and worked very hard for. i can only WISH i would look that good if i thought my job was in jeopardy. and yep, i agree, she does favor jen garner.
Clarisse says:
Word to future contestants...if you are going for a crown, track down all drunk pics of you doing stupid stuff BEFORE the pagents.
Rachel says:
Honestly, that picture makes her boobs look very uneven!
KEGage says:
This is to Ellie and Darth Paul...
To have a pageant title like Miss New Jersey, it takes a lot more than just beauty. Girls work incredibly hard to win, and the work consists of a WHOLE LOT more than just practicing a smile in front of a mirror, fixing your hair just right, or getting in shape. So before criticizing her for not looking like YOUR opinion of "pageant material" or being "too cookie-cutter" you might want to reconsider things.
FreakyZ says:
Lovely chewed down fingernails on those man hands; eyebrows drawn on with two different colors of pencil; cute top but her boobs ruin it. She looks like that Bachelor chick that went on Dancing With The Stars and was too prudish to really dance with her partner because she was married and ended up getting booted first... Trish ? Tara ?
Candid or not, this girl is u-g-l-y.

I would like to see a pic of you if you spent a week in tears with no sleep and putting up with the media monsters. The above thing you mentioned are all fixable problems- her hands are nice and she has very thin fingers. I would be biting my nails too if I was her. Her shirt can be pulled down to fix the scrunch problem, and she probably doesn't have the money to buy nice makeup. To me, this woman is very down to earth and I wish her much success. When I put myself in her shoes, I feel terrible for her. Much luck to you, Amy.
