The Dogg Family is getting ready to move into the E! television neighborhood, with an upcoming reality television series on the channel. Calvin Broadus Jr., more popularly known as Snoop Dogg, has agreed to let a reality TV crew follow him around, as he offers audiences a glimpse into f the hip-hop music industry, from his unique point of view. Additionally, the show will offer a peek at the rapper's personal life, following him in his life as a father and husband. The announcement for the show came from Ted Harbert, E! President and CEO of Comcast Entertainment group, at the summer press tour for the Television Critics Association.
"Snoop Dogg is, without a doubt, one of the most charismatic and intriguing personalities in pop culture today," Harbert said Friday at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. "While he has captured a legion of fans as the king of hip-hop, what makes Snoop most interesting is the side of him that people have never seen."I'm most interested to see footage of Snoop acting as coach with the Snoop Youth Football League, because I have a friend who told me some funny stories about how Snoop is crazy-involved and has even gone so far as to recruit kids from other teams. I seriously don't know how anyone could NOT love reality television. Philistines.

Which family is this "family man" going to feature on his reality show? Considering the hundreds of ho's and beyotches he's impregnated in his illustrious career as a globetrotting pimpster, this show could run 24 hours a day (with a little help from Maury Povich).

Please no more of this! What is America trying to do? They are putting these people on TV so that prejudiced people can point fingers and say people like Snoop are what's wrong with our country. Nobody wants to put a famous, positive black family on TV. They only want to show the rappers and people who live a ghetto lifestyle. It's not right and it's shows like these that add to the race problems America has.

these shows are all in good fun. no one excepts snoop to act like a role model, but maybe we'll be pleasantly surprised to see an unexpected soft side of him when it comes to his kids and wife

My fiance played on his "football" team, of which many of the games his sons youth football team visited. Snoop has like 20 assistants and they all were responsible for like 2-3 of the boys. The games were a family affair- his uncle cooks the team after-game meal. Snoops pals,Dre and Bishop Don Juan come to the games.. He is very active in his sons football team, even creating their raider bus customized with tv's, etc.
