Jane magazine went down in a blaze as staffers pillaged the closets taking everything that had a label. The fashion/beauty oriented mag isn't the only Conde Nast creation to be chopped. The rumor that Teen Vogue is the next to get the axe are flying. While reps for the Conde are denying any trouble stating that Teen Vogue is still a money maker.
"Teen Vogue could be the next to fold. Their ad pages are down and people are freaking out. A bunch of editorial staffers have recently jumped ship, including [editor-in-chief] Amy Astley's assistant, and many more are looking for new jobs."
I can just see tweens everywhere shrugging their shoulders as they seek solace in the arms of Seventeen.
