Over the weekend, Britney Spears' mother and sister, spent some time in Vegas, with the intent of smoothing things over with the troubled pop star. Britney had taken a trip to Vegas last week, in the wake of the media frenzy surrounding her supposed meltdown during an OK! magazine photo shoot, as well as a similar episode during a subsequent attempt to shoot a music video only hours later. It's not clear whether or not Lynne was successful in getting Britney to listen to her side of the story, but she did manage to njoy her Vegas trip somewhat, by spending some time out Saturday night after going out to dinner at the Social House, to hit up the PURE nightclub at Caesars in Vegas. Lynne hung out there, with "a few friends, taking a spot on the VIP main stage," according to Vegas Confidential. You remember PURE, right? It's where Britney spent her New Year's on the floor. In any case, Britney didn't end up collapsing during this particular Vegas trip, although she did have to leave the Wynn, when her security detail ended up clashing with some photographers there. Ah, Vegas, the perfect place for a family to come together and really just start the healing.
