What? You mean reality television is...fake. There goes my faith in humanity. There goes my impression of someone being shocked to hear that "The Hills" is about as unscripted as an Oscar acceptance speech. Recently, Lauren Conrad was filmed while dining at Da Silvano in NYC with three friends Tuesday night. An onlooker complained to the New York Post that the show is anything but a portrayal of reality.
"It was clear that this show is not a reality show. They took five takes of Lauren ordering dinner. The film crew took over the outside eating area by setting up lights and cameras everywhere. They should go back to California."Whatever, I love fakey-fake reality television. If I wanted to deal with reality, I wouldn't be mentally escaping my life by sitting down to watch TV in the first place. I'd go through my bills, pay my rent and deal with that hangnail that's been making me miserable for the past week or so.

Look how it's filmed with cameras so perfectly placed. I think that's why people like it, because it's not like the rest of the "reality" shows.
