Before the big fight, the singer had made a solo trip out of the hotel at 11pm, walking a few yards down the road to meet and hug a girl in her 20s before returning alone.An eyewitness said it appeared the girl handed over some kind of small package to Miss Winehouse as they hugged.
The singer returned to her hotel room and within hours other guests complained of raised voices, clattering furniture and screaming.

At this point, her parents need to have her grabbed and committed for treatment. It's not like they have to throw her in some insane asylum for the masses and maybe she could really get help.
Then again, I think you have to want to save yourself and she doesn't appear to want that at all.

I am sure that the respective families are at their wits end with these two addicts. Amy and Blake are self-destructive and co-dependent which can be a lethal combination. These two need to be separated ASAP because they feed off of each other and neither one of them stands a chance as long as they are together. Since the first intervention obviously didn't take Amy being the more self-destructive of the two needs to be court ordered into care as a danger to herself and others.
This is all very sad. Working in the field that I do it is something that i know happens on a daily basis; at least there aren't any children involved in this.
