Venus Williams, statuesque tennis sensation, has launched her own clothing line for women with Steve & Barry's. Entitled, EleVen, the line will offer selections on casual wear, footwear and athletic clothing for the ladies. At the launch for EleVen, Venus credited her education at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale with helping her provide helpful input during the creation of the line.
"It's helped me understand style, color, design history, putting seams in the right place."I don't know that I'd be remotely able to pull off more than half the looks that Venus sports on the court, but from the looks of the outfits these mannequins are wearing actually look doable. And let's be honest, if I'm going to be playing tennis, it's only going to be because I want to wear a short skirt and run around and pose, while my best gay takes pictures.
