Gotta say -- never saw this one coming...

This just breaks my heart. I hope this is found to be untrue and is some ridiculous rumor due to a slow news day. Not here at Socialitelife (so far, the only respectful site at the moment on this issue) but I hope everyone gives him the peace he needs.

I love that two-faced bunch of scums at TMZ. This morning bright and early they ran a joint Kate and Dax and Owen post and then they have the nerve to print Owen's statement.

Yeah i hope him and his family are doing okay, but it's so hard for me to feel sympathy for someone of his status ya know? He has millions of dollars, fame, fortune, the world practically at his feet and he tries to take the easy way out by killing himself? Granted i dont kow what would have pushed him to that edge but there are people out in this world that have dealt/are dealing with FAR WORSE things and are born/trapped in harsh envirements(no food, violence, etc.) and deal with it. Guess some people are stronger than others. Sad.

I always enjoy Owen's movies - who has "talent" anymore? You wanna see "Acting! Brrilliant!" watch Richard Burton in "The Longest Day". Me? I'd rather see tits so I am gonna watch Owen and Vince in "Wedding Crashers" and hope Owen figures out he's got a shi+load to live for. On my worst day, offing myself never entered my mind - it's just so final! Nothing's ever going to get better or work itself out if you are dead!

Some people are just depressed. Sometimes it's brain chemistry or something early in childhood sets them on the depression path and they cannot break it.

I was like that - depressed as far back as I can remember. I'm in my forties now. I finally went on meds five years ago, but didn't want to stay on them forever. Even when I "eased off the meds carefully and slowly" I had one of the worst days of my life. My brain chemistry went haywire. One night I did not sleep a wink. Every bad thought I could possibly have flooded my mind. I cried all night thinking about a pet that I saw get hit and killed by a car when I was a little girl.

I try to get through life by dealing with my problems and overcoming them. I can get by, but I will always have sadness lingering in my thoughts.
