I Need To Befriend Aniston

http://aslcdn.celebuzz.com/images/2007/08/jennifer_anistion_083007_01-thumb.jpg

Jennifer Aniston is reported to be the best friend you'll ever have. She foots the bill. All the time. And buys you gifts! You don't need to do that, Jenny! We'd still love you if you worked at the snack counter at Tar-jhay. It's what's inside that counts!

"Jennifer pays for everything all the time," insider tells Star. "If she plans a vacation, you know she's footing the bill for her entire entourage."

"Jen's assistant books it all," the insider continues. "The planes, the cars, the hotels, the meals, the activities, the spa services, the clothes they wear on vacation, the cocktails - it's so over the top! She's like the sugar daddy everyone wishes they had, except she's a woman! You could call her sugar mama!"

(Flynet)

That's deep. Oh, how you talk. Keep reading for details on how the sources thinks that Jennifer's bitches are preventing her from finding true love because they want to keep the gravy train a'rollin.

But is her open-pocket policy costing Jen her happiness? "Her friends really enjoy themselves, but I bet they're afraid that she'll find a serious boyfriend," the insider says. "That means no more free trips for them - and that's why they seem to be hard on her dates. I'm sure they were brutal with her last boyfriend, Paul Sculfor."
I'm going to get chick-lit catchphrase here for a second but those are some damn FRENEMIES! She needs to get over The Most Beautiful Woman In The World stealing her husband, and they're supposed to be helping her not sucking off her "Friends" money tit! She needs to off-load some leeches. She can still give nice gifts if she has a man in her bed. Damn. People are malevolent.

Possibly because she's a nice, generous person????

Sad. She's has to buy friendship and love from people. All that money and sad and lonely. Friends and no personal life.

It sucks to have to buy friends to hang out with!

She's buying friendship

August 30, 2007 12:24 PM

All lookwhaticando....pay no attention.

August 30, 2007 12:33 PM

She is just a nice person who doesn't mind sharing the wealth, I hardly think she has to buy friends...ridiculous..haters should stay on JJ, where you can kiss Mother Teresa/Jolies ass. I never blog on there, I can't stand that site.

She's just a nice lady. She's not sad and pathetic. She's independent and strong and she loves and appreciates her friends. You Go Girl.

If this is to believed, her 'open pocket policy' applies when she's single so I reckon old Brad was probably a bit of a tight wad. Not surprising really, he seems to be wearing the same clothes for the last 2 years.

Just what I thought all along... she's been buying friendship and companion. I think she even bought Paul's time to be with her.
I hope she just look at her family (since she has none of her own)i.e. dad, mom, siblings...and build a stronger bond. No money involved at all.

Good for Jen. Living her life, treating her friends. She's worth over 110 mill, why not grab the tab.

I'm surprised lookwhatican hasn't thrown her usual "Maniston" rant. At least she's changing it up!

Good on you crazy! Good on you!

You "she needs to buys friends" people are idiots. She has megabucks...why shouldn't she spread the wealth to the people in her life? Based on your comments I'd hate to think how you people would treat your friends if you won the lotto. Clearly, you wouldn't do anything for them! After all, that would be 'buying their friendship'. Puh.

It has to change it up, Clarisse, because IT has been banned from the site. Not for it's difference of opinion or vulgarity (of course no one give's a rat's about that), but for the fact that IT wreaks havoc by stealing other people's usernames.

One of the editors wrote to my e-mail address and asked if it was me, because SOMEONE was using my name all over the place. She said they "found the culprit".

THose words are sooooooooooooo 2005.

August 30, 2007 1:59 PM

Too late for you, Harvey. Every time you bash her, and that is every chance you get, I send her your post. Get yourself another generous friend.

August 30, 2007 2:04 PM

Whether she's "buying friendship" or not, she really has no choice when it comes to doing these things. She's pretty much obligated.

Being that a lot of her friends are likely to be average (or at least not nearly as rich) people, they're going to expect her to share her riches. If not, they're just going to abandon her, call her a selfish little whore and make up all kinds of rumors to kill her reputation/persona.

So, like I said, it's not really an option for her, even if some of these so-called friends are fake, gold-digging snakes in actuality.

Margaret -???????????????

August 30, 2007 2:08 PM

Yes, Margaret, and I'm sure that she absolutely loves having some batshit crazy fan sending her gossip blog bits. Freak.

August 30, 2007 2:08 PM

I don't think she's buying friends. If I was worth zillions and my friends weren't, you can bet I'd be sharing the wealth. I like Jennifer Aniston. She seems like she'd be a great girlfriend because she seems human. This isn't a dig at AJ, I just think if I had to choose who to go party with, it'd be JA.

She needs to stop buying her friendships. That's ridiculous and destructive. Maybe those are the only people that will listen to her whine that she can't keep a man, though!

hi lookwhaticando

August 30, 2007 2:32 PM

the people who call others brangeloonies and the others who call the other maniston groupies or whatever are all lame i notice that yall just stick to jolie/pitt/aniston post and talk about the SAME THING OVER AND OVER!! its been 3 years move on cuz both parties sure have....i mean what do yall gain from what yall say? i mean neither group is ever gonna kick it with the "team" they'cheering for....they dont even care to or want to know yall exist

yall are all nuts/lame

August 30, 2007 2:42 PM

first, about sharing the wealth...AMEN!

If I won the lottery, the first thing I'd do is take my entire family and all of my friends (and maybe THEIR families, too!) on a great vacation.

second, I don't believe this story. The ONLY "friend" I ever see her with is Courteny Cox, and she's got just as much bank as Aniston.

What's the big deal? If i had that kinda money I'd spend it on my friends too. What would this article look like if she made everyone pay for themselves.."Aniston is a cheap shrew!!"
Give me a break.

"She is just a nice person who doesn't mind sharing the wealth, I hardly think she has to buy friends...ridiculous..haters should stay on JJ, where you can kiss Mother Teresa/Jolies ass. I never blog on there, I can't stand that site."

I agree. People as rich as her should foot the bill for their friends if they can. It's only polite and generous and I'd do it in her position too.

August 30, 2007 3:10 PM

It's not like she can't afford it!

Slow news day, apparently.

Aniston doesn't have to buy friends. She's liked well enough by even strangers, thank you. People who meet her for the first time rave about what a nice, fun person she is.

Jennifer Aniston knows the true value of friendship. Her friends are like her family. She has a "select" group of pals that she has intimate and close relationships with - not just Cox, though Cox is probably her very best friend. At least she gets along well with other women, which is more than I can say for "you know who."

It's stupid to say Aniston has "nothing" because she has no children and isn't married. That is the dumbest, lamest remark on this board.

August 30, 2007 3:16 PM

If I were so lucky to have seemingly endless piles of cash, I would be flying people all over the place, we'd be at the best hotels/resorts/restaurants and I would not let them spend a dime on lodging and transportation or even food. I wouldn't necessarily take them on shopping sprees (well, not all the time) but if you're blessed enough to have the money, share it! There is nothing wrong with acts of kindness. You never know when you could need the help of someone, so if you're in a position to help others, you should do it. It actually makes you feel good inside. :)

August 30, 2007 3:27 PM

If I had that kind of money, I'd wear half finger woolen gloves and spend all my time counting it and arranging it into neat little piles.

By candlelight.

With a side of good Irish whiskey, Green ;)

Jaysus, I'd be distilling my own, T-Bone!

Hear, hear, jeanne. especially that last part. some of these knuckleheads think that a woman is nothing without a man. SHEESH!

what you wrote about "you know who" not getting along with other women...not only is THAT true, but does she have ANY friends, male or female? she gets along OK with men, as we all know, but it seems that the only men she DOES get along with is whomever happens to be her current lover.

You never see her with anyone except Brad (these days) and her kids.

And the reason that she doesn't get along with other women is, IMO, that she sees them all as competition...probably always thinking "she'll try to steal him" because...well...

August 30, 2007 4:43 PM

I wouldn't be surprised if this were true.
I remember reading years ago when she & Brad were still together that they were very generous tippers when they ate out.

I suspect that some of her "entourage" might be employees (PA's, trainer, chef, stylist, whatev) so she really would have to foot the bill for them if she drags them along on trips.

why not? you can't take it with you

August 30, 2007 6:50 PM

Jesus Christ people. It's too hot out and y'all are bugging the shit out of me.

Britney

August 30, 2007 7:28 PM

What are you doing out here if everyone bugs you? You must get something out of it.

August 30, 2007 7:47 PM

yes, a ringing in my brain.

August 31, 2007 1:30 AM

I'm sure all that money can be spent better elswhere than lavish hotels, cocktails, and all those other menial things...

August 31, 2007 10:34 AM

If I ever get money you can bet I'll buy my friends stuff! They were here when we had nothing. If I'm going on some wonderful vacation and they want to go too, I'll be thrilled and hell yes I'll pay. Only old friends though, I might be suspicious of people that showed up after the money did. If she's smart enough to spot users I have no problem with her treating her friends. I just envy that and wish I could too.

I've always said that Jennifer seems to be the sort of woman most women would love to be able to call "my friend" She's confident, classy, and extremely good looking and charasmic. She doesnt' try to compete with her female friends, but rather seems to be genuinely happy for their good works and successes in all areas. One Class Act...Tinsel Town's Golden Girl
