Watch out, Shiloh. There's about to be a new, hot baby in town. 41-year-old actress, Halle Berry has confirmed to Access Hollywood that she is, in fact, preggo with the baby of her boyfriend, Gabriel Aubry and emailed Nancy O'Dell about it.
"Yes, I am three months pregnant! Gabriel and I are beyond excited, and I've waited a long time for this moment in life. Now the next seven months will be the longest of my life!" she wrote to Nancy.Dang, what's a bitch got to do to get an email from a movie star around here? Have a successful entertainment news magazine show on television? Oh. I guess that makes sense. In any case, Halle can stop hiding behind oversized purses and like she's some kind of sitcom star.

So, 9 months is a bit shorter than 40 weeks. Not sure why anyone refers to it as 9 months, really. Doctors and nurses always speak in terms of weeks, and pregnant women usually tell you they are 16 weeks pregnant, not 4 months.

Considering that I'm a middle-of-the-road-type fan when it comes to Halle, I can't explain why I was so excited to hear this news...I guess I just can't wait to see the kid. He/she will either be the prettiest or (taking into account God's oft-quirky sense of humor) the ugliest human being on the planet.

Congrats to her! She's been wanting to be a mom for a while but never had the right partner in her life. And thank you, Zelda, for explaining what no one told me about the gestation period of a pregnant woman when I was pregnant. She's going to be fine. It's those last two months that are going to be hell on earth! Can you say insomnia and constant heartburn? Oyyy! I can't wait to see what I know is going to be one beautiful kid!!!

I was pregnant at age 40...during the summmer...in Alabama. It could have been 9 or 10 months but it felt like 9 or 10 years.

Luv it! Halle's had a few relationships that have gone bad, but you can tell that she doesn't just luv em and leave em. She wanted her relationships to work out and most of them have lasted for at least a year. I'm glad she didn't get pregnant to soon by this boyfriend (even though he is good-looking). He had to agree to the baby, so me must love her.

I'm REALLY happy for her. 41 is by no means "over the hill" for having a baby. LOTS of women do it into their 40's. I'm sure she's going to have the absolute BEST medical attention throughout her pregnancy. THAT is going to be one luck, loved, beautiful baby. Congratulations to Halle & Gabriel.
