Ryan Gosling returned to his home country of Canada for the Toronto International Film Festival for a screening of his film, "Lars and the Real Girl." Now, I'm a fan of Ryan because he generally seems to take on interesting roles and I feel like he and Rachel McAdams just seemed like such an adorable couple. However, this film premise is a bit much, even for Ryan. Apparently, his character is a man who is a working drone and falls in love with a life-sized doll he orders over the Internet. Hmm...I feel like I might have gone to college with that guy. But, I have confidence in my Ryan, so I'll keep an open mind. In any case, he showed up at the press conference for the film looking pretty nondescript in a low-key outfit of brown slacks and a denim shirt. I must interject here that I've seen him a few times sitting at a bus stop near my old apartment in Hollywood appearing to actually be waiting for the bus a little over a month ago, so I'm wondering if maybe he was doing research for a role. Just a thought...

Remember him on breaker high ? He was so cute there and his character so adorable and sweet. I have nothing but love for him!
Mike says:
I really hope he wasn't waiting for the bus. Not even LA's very own, unwashed, Silverlake hipsters take the bus!

So what if he took the bus....Just shows that he is just like anyone else and hopefully stardom doesn't change him...Ryan Gosling is a true Canadian...He is a great influence...and such a cutie to boot...
