Even though Demi Moore has dished out hundreds of thousands of dollars in plastic surgery to tighten, lift and sand off any evidence of the aging process, the 44-year-old actress says that she's still having trouble landing decent film roles. She recently stated in an interview:
"It's been a challenging few years, being the age I am. Almost to the point where I felt like, well, they don't know what to do with me. I am not 20. Not 30."There aren't that many good roles for women over 40. A lot of them don't have much substance, other than being someone's mother or wife."
I think I know exactly how this problem could be solved, Demi, HIRE ME TO WRITE A MOVIE FOR YOU. I swear to God, I'll write whatever you want. I can easily be bought, sold and ground down into a fine dust and snorted. I don't know what it means, needless to say, call me.

I think Demi is looking for sexy roles, and frankly, we all know how old she is, reagrdless of how young she tries to make herself look.

In the past Demi Moore has always tried somehow to get her boobs on film, in the shower scene in gi jane, she wanted her boobs shown. Maybe no one wants to see her boobs anymore?

a TRUE republican does believe in less government. unfortunately, this charade of republicans we now have in power believe in no such thing. our government is bigger now than any other time in the history of our country.
to boot, the republican party was hijacked by the religious right, so now, the party leadership has come to represent SOCIAL conservatism rather than FISCAL conservatism. This sure ain't the party of Lincoln. (just as much as the dems are no longer the party of FDR...)
IMO, the libertarian party more closely represents what republicans used to be.

I agree nastybugger... But I don't agree with disliking someone right off the bat just because politically they lean a certain way. There SHOULD be more to it than just "I hate all Republicans" or "I hate all Democrats". I have a politically mixed group of friends and I have to say that in my experience it has been the Democrats shoving their opinions down people's throats (with very little respect), and NOT the Republicans. But maybe that's just my circle of friends. I prefer to have respect for both parties and either like or dislike people for what they have in their hearts and NOT who they vote for. It's not always a tell-tale sign.

because I've found that it's the extremists in both parties that shove their views down people's throats, whether or one side or the other.
I can have civil political debates with my friends who are on "the other side", but I have a relative with whom I CANNOT discuss politics because she refuses to see the other side of things.
and unfortunately, it's the extremists who are usually the most vocal and therefore seem to present the party view when, in reality, they may in fact be the minority view in the party.
sort of like ann coulter or michael moore.
