Right now, it sounds like they're off and in a big way. Apparently, at the Toronto Film Festival, where the two were promoting their film, "Rendition," Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal were keeping plenty of distance between each other, enough to make it look like they possibly weren't even on speaking terms. On the last day the two spent in Toronto, they seemed very distant for most of the day and it wasn't until late that night that they seemed to reconnect somewhat. According to a witness, "They seemed like a couple." However, the next day, each left separately for different coasts, so it's anyone's guess as to the status of their relationship at the moment. But, Us reports that there still might be hope yet for these two.
"They're a rocky couple," says one insider. "It would not be a shock if they got back together."Whatever, I don't really care if they stay together or not. I just think they'd make cute babies. And if that's not enough to hold a couple together, then maybe I need to have a serious talk with my boyfriend.

The only reason why we are getting this "They are broken up crap" is that promotion for Rendition is winding down and it will explain why we won't see them together anymore. BECAUSE THAT'S RIGHT - THEY AREN'T TOGETHER!!!!!! NEVER WERE. The only way I'll ever be convinced they are together is if I see a photo of them holding hands or kissing. When Jake was with Kirsten you saw photos like that all the time. This story is so old and boring. Bring on the next young starlet for Jake to get it on with.

I have to agree with the poster who wants to know why she is playing hard to get, she is 31 with two kids, Jake is hot and loyal, she need to jump on that wagon now, before it goes away.

As for Reese -- some of you are wondering if she might be "playing hard to get" and if that's appropriate for a 31 year old woman with two kids. I don't see Reese as the type to play games; however, insinuating that a woman in their 30's with 2 kids should pretty much "take whatever she can get" is the most immature thing I've read out here. You're actually belittling and insulting yourselves as females. Women can be beautiful, interesting and SOUGHT AFTER ALL their lives, not just when they're 18 years old and stupid - dumba$$es. Reese is fabulous and should be able to get any man, including yours. So shut it!
