I was just flipping through a photo album with a friend of mine, showing off hilarious pictures from when I was sixteen years old. And she freaked out because I looked like I was actually thirteen in the pictures. And grew up in the 70s. Mostly because teenagers these days look like perfectly-coiffed, done-up 20-something ladies. I can prove it--just take a look at these pix from the Teen Vogue Young Hollywood. The ladies look so polished and put-together, it confounds me--because I'm still working on achieving that level of sophistication in my late 20s. I do have to say that by Young Hollywood standards, these girls actually come close to looking their age--and nobody appears to be dressed like a total hoochie-mama. Hilary Duff's rocking something awkward, but it's OK, cause she gives food to kids. And Jamie-Lynn's out and about, trying to bring home the bacon, since it's clear that Britney's bread-winning days are over.
