Previously - There was a ship. The usual fun and games. Ebony's a bitch because Mom does crack. Heather has a condition. Victoria's smart and prone to seasickness. Lisa's a pole dancer. Mila's too happy. Tyra got a faux bikini wax. And so forth....
Was Gossip Girl a howl or what? Those are some dramatic 30-year-old teenagers! Oh, yeah, "ANTM". Mila's saying how cool this all is and how it's the "perfect opportunity" for her. No one's this happy. Behind that smile is either a raving bitch, or a supermarket hostage taker. The girls are back in L.A. Lisa was in foster care for six years and stop making the foster care system look like it leads to pole dancing, They meet up with Mr. Jay in some mall-type area catering to fashion. They are led to their new vehicle, which is a mini-bus that's a 100% BioDiesel. That's nice and all, but you some of those girls are like "where's the damn limo"? Mr. Jay informs us that Tyra wants to call attention to "the environment" and that "Top Model is going green". Sweet. If Tyra's dumb show can single-handedly prevent New York from flooding and India from having hail, and Russian tankers washing up next to libraries like I saw in that kickass movie, I'm impressed.

Don't make one f*#king negative comment about Heather. She has Asperger's Syndrome, which is like a mild form of Autism. The fact that this girl is bold enough to try out for something like this is AMAZING, being that she probably has delays in social skills, and other developmental issues. Anyone making fun of this girl, including the girls in the house, the judges, or gossip writers like yourselves, ought to be strung up!
Katie says:
Wow, people are really getting into this entire "save Heather" thing this season. I for one think that the girls in the house (with exception of Victoria) are always petty, childish and just plain mean. I hope Heather gets to the final two just to add an interesting twist to the show, because lets face it... the green thing isn't going to cut it.
The anti-smoking withdrawals might though.
Hey Cupcake says:
Okay, I totally don't get Victoria. Granted, she's tall, but is she model-beautiful? I vote no. And did everyone miss her confession that she originally tried out for the show as a "joke"? She's just blah and seems scared of her own shadow. A girl who'd be more comfortable in isolation at the library.
Anyhoo, I'm guessing Lisa and... ?
xirohiro says:
T-Bone let me preface this comment with the fact that as I watched the episode this week, I was getting more and more pissed with the girls in the house for talking about Heather they way they were. Now with that being said, this is a competition. Yes, negative comments about Heather's autism are sick, unwarranted, and down right despicable, but negative comments in regards to her performance on the show (for such things as her runway walk, pictures, etc.) are COMPLETELY justified. I understand that this is amazing for someone with Asperger's Syndrome to be this open, but just because they are different does not mean THEY want to be treated different or should be.
Kelly Rummelhart says:
I loved the look on some of the girls faces when they said a ban on smoking . . . I see some weight gain ahead. Is the rest of the season going to be sponsered by gum or suckers?
Regarding Heather, she photographs beautifully- I could give a sh#t about her A.S. I just can't get over her hunchbacked walk. And when Tyra said something about kids with Autism watching the show seeing her (good role model) I couldn't help but think what in the hell is she talking about. Of the kids I know that have Autism, the last thing I see them doing is watching ANTM.

"Goddammit Tif'ney! If you leave these fuckin' Barbie dolls lying around the living room floor ONE more time they're going into the trash!!
(-person could break his neck trippin' over this shit-Jesus!)
T-Bone says:
Here's the thing, xirohiro, they weren't making fun of her modeling style. They were making fun of things related to her disorder, like the fact that some of them don't want to talk to her because she "might latch on to" to them (being that "those people" find people to latch on to). And the fact that they call her "weird". And the fact that they all refuse to socialize with her. Since it is in fact, a "competition", perhaps the dumba$$ girls in the house should leave the judging to the judges and shut their ugly little traps. And I don't give a SH*T if it's a competition! HAVE A F*CKing heart for someone who's a little different than you are. It's called compassion. Who gives a rat's if she walks with a slouch. If the judges want her off for that, then they'll let her know. The rest of you, shut up!
T-Bone says:
P.S. I'm praying that it comes down to Lisa and Heather, just to spite the rest of the trash in the house. Oh, and the nice Yale girl too (although I don't think she has what it takes). My only hope is that Heather doesn't somehow get eatin' alive before then.
egypt says:
My son has Asperger's. He and I are so proud of Heather. What a model! What role model! It's very difficult to explain what an impact this has. She is an inspiration as she stands there and tells these girls about her condtion. Let them live with how they have treated her so far. Can't one at least reach out to her? We are praying for her! She is really a super lady! GO HEATHER!
Lu says:
I have Asperger's and am offended by how Heather's Asperger's is being portrayed as a major disability. Yes, those of us with AS are different and many things are more difficult (other things are easier for us), but they really wanted to label it, they should have called it a condition, not a disability.
kayla says:
My daughter has NLD, very similar to Aspergers and we are thrilled she is so brave and on there in front of America competing. It is so hard when you can't interpret body language and are clumsy - as well as have poor social skills to put yourself in that position. I would love to see her win or be a runnerup. I do know that if she wins she will be faced with having to learn how to speak better in public etc.
kayla says:
i love heather
Sleepwalker says:
As someone with a developmental disability similar to Heather's (nonverbal learning disability), I am absolutely in awe of her. She is inspiring! I hope she makes it to the final three and wins this deal, but even if she doesn't, she has accomplished a great deal. I think she's incredible!
***** says:
yes it is wondrerful that Heather is out there but she is seriously leaning on her condition to get her self in the competition, in the last episode her personality completely changed and she was totally awsome, anyone else think shes playing this up a little? it is a modeling competition not a role model competition, heather should stay in the competition because she takes amazing pictures but her AS should have nothing to do with the competition
Ortho says:
Heather does not have Asperger's. She has either been misdiagnosed, or she is pulling a scam on the judges.
