Beyonce Knowles had to cancel her first Malaysian performance scheduled to take place in Kuala Lumpur because of the uproar made by local Muslim organizations. The former "Destiny's Child" singer refused to comply with the strict dress code issued by the Ministry of Culture, which prohibits female performers from revealing any skin from the tops of their chests to their knees. The show was set to take place on November 1st. Earlier this summer, Gwen Stefani performed, wearing extra clothing to conceal any revealing costumes calling the changes a "major sacrifice."
On an unrelated note, I'm digging on her dark hair. I already planned on going a bit darker myself, for the fall, and if B has shown the courage enough to toss her beloved highlights aside, then I think I'll be brave enough to try them too. I just don't know if I can pull off the hooker witch shoes. That might be a stretch.

I'm glad to see she's back to her old, more natural self with the darker hair.
