The gala event featured a salute to forty years of New Line Cinema films, followed by dinner and dancing in the Atrium and Allen Room in Frederick P. Rose Hall. The evening was hosted by New Line Cinema Co-Chairmen Bob Shaye and Michael Lynne with special guest Nicole Kidman, this event commemorates New Line's 40 years of achievement, as well as the long and successful collaboration between New Line and the Film Society.
How much did attendance to this gala cost? Anywhere from $100,000 (12 VIP tickets to the gala and show, VIP reserved seating at the dinnner, a private advanced screening of "The Golden Compass" and a slew of other goodies) to $2,500 (1ticket to the show and dinner with open dinner seating).
