The Backstreet Boys are really more like the Backstreet Men these days, with Nick Carter, the baby of the bunch, fast approaching thirty. Yikes. And with the boys/men set to release a new album "Unbreakable" at the end of the month, they're hoping they can pull off a comeback.
"I think unfortunately we just got - kind of got categorized...I think there was a time period where people, like, didn't want to say they liked us," Carter said. "I just think you just kind of got to get passed that whole stage and, you know, maybe people will start coming back around."Dang if Backstreet's not looking rough and stuff. Apparently Nick Carter and A.J. McLean both have their torsos in the same climate, but Nick's legs are enjoying some summer breezes in his flip-flops and long shorts. You never know when a tropical storm might suddenly break out around your knees.

They have a hardcore fan base who has and always will support them, so do your job and find some real NEWS to write about. Because if you had been doing your job, you'd know they have been back together now for 2 years and there album release date has been set for almost a year.

The B.S.B's has a huge solid fanbase across Asia alone! especially among the 1980's babies! Brian's & A.J's vocals are brilliant & unique. And you can't deny that. Their music may be sloppy to some, but I grew up with thier music. And thier songs are very nostalgic to me!!!

I'm glad that their coming out with a new album. They are working hard and doing what they love. Nothing wrong with that. I'm looking forward to hearing the new tracks on their album. :)
I think people just want to rag on them because they were HUGE in the late 90's. No group stays HUGE forever, but these guys still have a loyal fanbase that have stuck with them. I think most people expected them to be gone and over with, but they are still here. That right there says something.
