Hey there, Slash--er, Britney. In what can only be described as probably one of the worst ideas she's had in a while--and trust me, the woman is a veritable aficionado of bad ideas--Britney Spears has reportedly filled out a job application with the bar in the Cameo Bar at the Viceroy Hotel in Santa Monica. Um...huh? According to TMZ, Britney checked into the hotel Thursday night and then headed down to the hotel's bar, where she started chatting up a bartender. The pop star then got herself an application from the night manager and submitted herself for consideration for the position of bartender. This is insane. Just because she's an expert at getting her drink on, doesn't mean that she's going to be able to whip up a buttery nipple on command--at least not the kind anyone would actually want. Also, people tend to not appreciate weave in their drinks.

There is a small community of people who get sexually aroused by having themselves physically mutilated-amputation, castration etcetera (like the guy in Germany who had a friend cut his penis off and then sat down to dine on it with him).
Anyway, I think Brit-Brit gets her kicks by publicly disgracing herself, by mutilating her public image and reputation, by making herself more and more psychologically grotesque and morally disfigured.

I totally believe she did that. I don't believe she has follow-through. C'mon, I think all we've seen for the past couple of years is her acting on impulse without thought to consequence or carrying anything through. She was probably sitting there, thought it looked like fun, of course the hotel is going to be all over that action because that'll bring people in. But she won't actually do it. If she can't even be bothered to follow-up on making her visitation with her kids, I really don't think she's going to show up on time for her 5pm shift.

I'm beginning to think this whole deal is never going to top out. I think she's going to spend the rest of her life running around all night long, visiting fast food joints, blowing by hotels and entertaining the paps. It's boring already, ASL.
*Stop* giving her attention, and she might just decide her stupid antics aren't funny anymore and no one cares to watch them. The best thing her "fans" can do for her is to pay NO attention to her anymore. She's like a pre-teen acting out for attention.
We'll see how long she drives around LA when no one's watching. I predict about one day before she decides to "turn it around" and go to rehab.
