Tom Cruise has gone through a lot of trouble to get permission to film in Germany for his pet project, the film "Valkyrie" and is now having to go through the whole bit all over again because the footage he and his crew shot recently shot was found to be unusable. The scene in question was shot at the historical Bendler Block and will have to be re-shot.
"The production company told us that there were problems with the negative development in Arri Munich, one of the top post-production companies in Germany," Colin Ullman, a spokesman for the company that delivered the film, told Bild. "The images were wiped away."Luckily for Tom, though, it sounds as if the German government is cool with allowing more filming to take place, but still, he really seems to be running into a lot of stumbling blocks along the way. At the very least, I have to say that he seems to be keeping his crazy in check these days. Perhaps he's going bug-eyed behind those sunglasses, but at least he's being smart enough to keep it under wraps.
