Paris Hilton Headed for Rwanda

I think that as caring citizens of the world, we should set up a "Keep Paris Hilton in Rwanda Foundation".. Let me be the first to offer a donation of $1000. If we all donate as much as our income can allow, we can fund her life in Rwanda AND help the charity to which she subscribes. Anyone else with me?

Disclaimer: Yes, I know, helping the children is not a matter which should be mocked, and I SHOULD be ashamed of myself, but I'm not. I DO donate to many good causes, so I'm entitled to a little snark here. C'mon folks, this may be our only chance to get rid our society of this nit wit. Donations please?

So let me get this straight. This woman is a multi-millionaire, right? And an heiress of a huge hotel chain worth hundreds of millions of dollars.

And she's going on a trip to visit health clinics, to help people in Africa.

Maybe she should take some of her money and BUILD some health clinics, if she's so concerned about those people, instead of going on vacation and bringing camera crews along.

Failing that (I'm always skeptical about these things in Africa for historical reasons) she could help rebuild New Orleans or something. This way she could help poor people AND sluts. It'd be a win-win for her.

Ok, I hate her as much as the next person but that is a good organization and if she can raise awareness for it, all the better.

I've been to Africa (Nigeria and Cameroun) and she should be scared. They are .... beyond words. When people say she should help people here (I'm Canadian so in this, I mean Canada and the US), we have the resources to help ourselves, they don't. They need any bit of help they can get. If she does it, good for her.

On the snark note, she's going to need a lot of shots to get into Rwanda, will a doctor do it considering all her gross diseases?
