It's nice to see Amy eating something, even if it's probably the worst food possible for her. But I'm guessing cholesterol is probably the least of the troubled singer's worries at the moment. And now her father, Mitch, is saying that when Amy Winehouse collapsed from an overdose this summer, he feared the worst. He realized that his daughter was in such a delicate state, that it was totally possible that he might lose her.
"I know newspapers have obituaries ready for people - well, I'd written one."When Amy had her seizure and was taken to hospital, I really thought that could be it. The doctors told us even a whiff of another drug could kill her."
What a horrible thought. With that in mind, I know a lot of hateful things that I've said and done in my past--and I'm a bit of a control freak--so I've already written up my own obituary and have it in the hands of my lawyer, to be dispatched upon notification of my passing. You can't be too careful, guys. You never know what good qualities of yours might be overlooked after you're unable to remind people.

does she own anything other than those ridiculous balerina slippers??? At least she had the sense enough to wash the blood out of them...
Persistent Cat says:
That was funny. I should make a list of my good qualities and update it periodically. Thanks for the heads up.
Zil says:
Are you kidding me...the preservatives, salt and fat are about the only thing keeping this stick figure alive.
nana says:
what a shame! she is my favorite singer right now. her voice is unique !
teta says:
drug addicts are sick people , why u bastards dont show some compassion?
stolidog says:
Instead of writing her obit, he should be ringing up a dentist to get that gaping hole fixed in her mouth. Nobody wants an ugly corpse.
Katie says:
Lisa!! It's Katie, as in your old Roomie from Soule, and I have to tell you that I found this post via REUTERS! How awesome is that! Love you and am glad to see that you are doing well!
stolidog says:
weird.
Elle says:
Actually she looks surprisingly close to normal here without the usual tons of face paint and she doen't look emaciated.
Cookiecutter says:
I'm so sick of people saying she's got such a gift". Many others out there do too but are not methheads or cokewhores, to name a couple. She's a junkie who made herself into a junkie. Selfish bitch to put her family through this shit. No, I have no sympathy for drug addicts or alcoholics. I knoew enough of them & have felt the pain they cause friends & family because of what they've let themselves turn into. Amy is the poster child of what giving into demons & not fighting them will do to you.
in agreement says:
I have to agree about not feeling sorry for alcoholics and drug addicts. When you've lived with them and had them in your family you sort of loose the capacity to feel sorry. It's their own fault. All that 'woe is me, poor me, I'm sick' shit doesn't work on us.
You're not sick, you're weak. Grow up.
