State of the Blog Address
Hola! As we speak, the cable guy is on his way to my apartment to get me set up with my cable box and enable me to experience a television overdose that hasn't been seen for quite some time. You see, I haven't had cable television for over four years and I'm now hooked up with my new TiVo and cable and I'm a little concerned my head might explode. However, I realized that if I'm going to be staying current with gossip and whatnot, I needed to upgrade. Much like me, ASL is also planning some major upgrades coming up here pretty soon. We offered a survey for you guys, to voluntarily fill out and help us figure out what things you'd like to see on the site and what stuff you wanted to see less of. I want to thank all of you who gave us your input--and please know that you can always email me any time with suggestions and whatnot.
More in what ASL has planned for you after the jump...
So, first off, I just want to assure you guys that all the technical requests you made--home page length, after the jump issues, photo galleries, etc.--those things are all being addressed by the tiny dwarves that keep our site up and running. Unfortunately, it's going to take us a few weeks to get everything sorted out, but please know that we are doing our darndest to make this the best site it can possibly be! Don't leave us! We promise it will get better!
As for the things that we can change, we have started posting on weekends--courtesy of Mr. J. Harvey--and also have a newsletter coming very, very soon. (I'm thinking, next week.) And because a lot of you have expressed a sadness at the loss of the Friday Five, we're going to work that in there. So, fret not, my pets! We have all kinds of treats in store for you tricks!
But we're not the only ones with improvements up our sleeves. Recapist is back from summer hiatus with a whole mess of new shows for you to check out. We've got all your favorite reality shows, as well as all the scripted series that have returned for the fall--even new ones, so be sure to check them out. And if you don't see your favorite show being covered, shoot me an email and we'll do our best to get it covered.
And don't forget about being dutiful little Famesters. I too have been shirking my responsibilities with maintaining my profile and blog on there, but it's time for you to reignite some Famester fever, since we also have some surprises in store for you on there as well.
One final thing, I have a possible interview on the horizon with Andy Dick and I'm going to need your help if that happens, with questions and whatnot. For those of you who can think of some good questions for me to pose to Mr. Dick, simply post your question in your comment, or you can email me.
Thanks for allowing me to bend your ear--or eyeballs, I guess is more appropriate. Enjoy your Wednesday and keep letting us know how you feel!

P.S. The video at the top is one that I randomly stumbled upon and thought was pretty cool, so I thought I'd share. That is all!

love the video.
i'll, uh, get my survey back to you pronto. i thought i read somewhere we had until the 19th. but then again, i have no idea where i read it so i probably just made it up. it happens. i don't have any mayjah complaints, or any mynah ones either, about the site. about the only thing that bugs me is the lack of friday five. and the fact that the photos have no identification captions. i'm so out of the loop sometimes that i have no earthly idea who some of the ppl are in the photos. oh, and i wish on the 'caption it' photos, that ASL would actually pick a winner. that would be cool. no prize necessary ~ just a boost to the ol' ego will suffice.
thx for all you do -- it doesn't get said enough.

Is this going to be a phone interview with Mr. Dick? If not, I would definitely consider making sure you are up on your immunizations! The guy touches and licks everyone he comes in contact with!
I know you won't ask...but my question for him would be "when are you going to go away?"
Ditto on what peachpie said Lisa, thanks to you, J. Harvey and the others for doing this blog!
