Go on with your bad self, Kylie! It's amazing how people can bounce back! Bitches are resilient! A good friend of mine's Mom had brain surgery, and she was running around a couple weeks later like they hadn't drilled into her skull! Seriously, she was back up and driving him crazy about his upcoming wedding like her cerebral cortex had never been prodded and poked. Here's Kylie Minogue at the U.K. premiere of her tour documentary "White Diamond". It relates what it was like when she had to cancel her "Showgirl" tour midway through when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, and when she started it back up again. One reviewer says that Kylie seems like an angelic, sweet figure but it doesn't go deep enough.
Filmed between August 2006 and March 2007, White Diamond follows Kylie on her resurrected "Showgirl" tour - originally abandoned halfway through, in Sydney, when she was diagnosed with breast-cancer. White Diamond aims to show her "Home coming" - the reactivation of the Showgirl tour, which was reworked to be "Light, joyful and fun, as always; but that means something much deeper, now given the context," as choreographer Akram Khan explains. We never see her shout, or bitch, or get tipsy, or maudlin. She comes across as resolutely sunny, stoic and giggly - which, by all accounts, she actually is - but anything even remotely resembling a newsworthy moment has clearly been exorcised by either [choreographer/stylist/collaborator Will] Baker, or Minogue herself.
Hey, guess what? I had a malignant tumor in my breast! Screw you, bitch! I could have Lilo & Stitch running around and film two hours of me sitting on the couch watching "Judging Amy" and you'll like it! Why? Because I had cancer. As far as I'm concerned, battling cancer means you can rob banks if ya want. Just take it, we shut off the dye pack. Have a nice day!

She's had too much work done to her face. It's a shame. And don't get on me because she's recovering, she's been doing too much to her face for years.

I think she's absolutely STUNNING!! And I admire her strength and grace. You can look at those close ups of her face, and you don't see huge, over inflated lips or obvious "change". You CAN see the marrionette lines, the creases, the shadows. She's not that old, she obviosly doesn't spend a lot of time in the sun. She looks like she's aging. Maybe she's using a couple of small sand bags to hold back the tides of time, but overall, she just looks STUNNING!!! Yeah Kylie!! She makes a pretty damned good role model if you ask my humble opinion.
