Highlighting the launch of CNN-HD in the fall of 2007, Anderson Cooper has teamed up with Animal Planet's Jeff Corwin and CNN chief medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta to bring to audiences the four-hour documentary about the Earth's current environmental state, entitled, "Planet in Peril." As you can see here, Lance Armstrong was also on hand with the team to lend his support to the promotion of the documentary's launch, which will air over two nights Tuesday, Oct. 23rd and Wednesday, Oct. 24th. According to Cooper:
"Our goal was to report not only on individual issues but to examine the interconnectivity of environmental changes. Instead of simply delving into academic theories, we set out to document the actual changes taking place that affect the way we live our lives and the choices we make."First Al Gore, then Leonardo DiCaprio, now this. I'm starting to feel left out. Where's my terrifying documentary about the environment? Oh that's right, I'm lazy. I forgot to make one. And can someone please tell Matthew McConaughey I'm joking. I think he's been reading my posts and is pissed. Oh yes, and I really hope that female correspondent dressed in a fur coat is wearing some endangered species because the irony would be too rich!

wow, anderson, matthew and lance all together at one event! i can just imagine the frolicking that went on behind the scenes.
boy, can i imagine it.
silvarga says:
God Dayum! Look at all that Hot ManCozy on display! It really is too bad McConaughey couldn't be in that picture too. Too bad this was a "work" function, 'cause if I was Anderson and I was surrounded by all that salt-and-peppered beefcake, I'd have me a mad case of Grabass-and-Giggles.
Look at how serious Anderson looks. You know deep inside he was trying concentrate on keeping the wood to a minimum.
McConaughey on the other hand, is giving us his best :Prince: Under the Cherry Moon" face.
nowlin says:
Clearly I am the only one looking at Jeff and Sanjay, but yum!
Oh, and yay for saving the world and all that.
Smiles says:
first Al Gore, whose take on global warming will pale in light of the continuing effects of the trail of toxic wastes we leave in our wake.
one can also look at trees, 500 year old trees were the norm on arrival in this land, now a tree is lucky to survive for a hundred years. . .
I think the only which will have humanity survive at this point, is go from maximum to minimum consumption and totally clean up its act beginning with clearing the air. . .
which will also have us give birth to peace on earth as we take the lid of creativity. and live in honour and respect of the world we will leae in our wake for our children. . .
we are having a whole new script written for us.
and it will all happen without trying, like jsut think what 6 billion people can do with an idea, once it gets past they being seen as crazy for thinking as you do.
