Carrie Underwood is my favorite of all the American Idols so far. I don't know why the others seems to have so many problems. Ruben's career never got off the ground. Clay has incredible talent, but his gayness crushed his heartthrob status. Kelly Clarkson is a wonderful singer, but she battles a weight problem and doesn't seem to be very happy. And the salt-and-peppered crooner is good, but he seems to have also gotten lost in the shuffle.
Underwood doesn't seem to want a lot of attention. She's not in it just to be famous. Her love is singing. She just wants to do what she loves doing. It's so nice to see someone like her when so many young people don't seem to know who they are.

I know most thrive on seeing stars with money in a "bad place"... but every so often it's nice to see one do okay with fame.

Carrie's very talented but feels cold, like she's not really connecting to her feelings in her songs. Then again, she's so new at the game maybe she's just as she says she is...shy.

Carrie is a great person, and I think she is handling the fame great. I dont see why anyone has a problem with her, she is just singing her songs and living her life. Just because she sings certain songs doesnt mean that is what she does herself, she is just entertaining..its just a song. I met Carrie and she is wonderful, and would do anything to help anyone.

carrie is a great singer, and when she is live she is absolutely amazing...she has worked really hard and idol was just her stepping stone into music but it was up to her to be successfull. idol did not give her awards from the acm's, cma's, and so forth she earned it and so she deserves it. why people are against idol i dont know at least we know they can sing and arent just selling records because of their sex appeal and arent lypsynching at concerts...besided this pix is unflattering and carrie is beautifull nice try but if carrie gave you the time or day i highly doubt you would dump her...
