Bless his heart, Ethan Hawke is looking like an old-ass Oliver Twist here, signing autographs for fans who are probably surprised he's still alive. He's also preparing to star in an upcoming film, entitled, "Real Men Cry." I'm sort of confused by the premise, but it's based on the life of actor/director, Brian Goodman, and his friendship with a man who is currently behind bars for armed robbery and is serving a 100-year sentence. Goodman was at one point serving time himself for assaulting an in-law, after he claims he learned the individual had been abusing a relative. It was in the late 90's that the Boston native formed a friendship with Donnie Wahlberg, began earning parts in local films and then the two collaborated on the script. According to Goodman, his time spent in prison was spent during a dark period in his life.
"I came from a broken home and was living in survival mode," he said. "I have three bullets in me, one in the back of my head."The role of the two friends, Paulie and Brian, will be played by Ethan Hawke and Mark Ruffalo. Well, good for Ethan. This sounds like a role will put his gaunt, old-man looks to use.

gerard Vandenberg says:
Ask his FAGGOT-FRIEND if his DICK shows some wrinkles yet? And if he feels them!!
spaz says:
gerard, just come out already.
nothing worse than a self-hating gay.
Zekers says:
He seemed to lose his hotness when Uma booted him. He visibly aged a great deal while he was going through the divorce. She on the other hand, looks better than ever...guess guilt will age a person, 'eh Ethan?
peachpie says:
i kinda think that being with uma would age ANYBODY's ass.... guilt or not. she's a cougar, that one.
Zekers says:
Really? I didn't know that about her. I thought she was pretty normal/grounded from the interviews I saw with her...
hmweis1 says:
How did Donnie Wahlberg get thrown in the mix? That was random.
NYSailorScout says:
Let us be fair. Gerard Vandenberg is practically the only reason why I even view the comments! He's awesome and hysterical!
spaz says:
"awesome and hysterical"?
sure, if you're a fellow self-hating closet case who finds humor in homophobia and bigotry.
T-Bone says:
If writing keeps "girard" from killing someone, I say let him write.
stolidog says:
it's "gayrard" to you and me.
peachpie says:
not that i don't love uma, because i will watch anything she's in, even if she just read the encyclopedia on dvd, i'd watch it. raptly.
what i mean is that she is a very strong woman, with a life of her own, goals of her own, and a plan for herself and her kids. to some (many?) men, that's a challenge. to others, it's a threat. ms. thurman seems to choose her suitors carefully -- to ensure that they can survive in her world. and i say "good for her!". but i imagine it would take a toll on a partner, husband, boyfriend, etc.... hence his haggard, gaunt look & her sensational good looks. maybe cougar was too strong? nah....

The reviewer could talk on Hawke's talent, because he has so much talent.
