State of the Blog Address
First and foremost, HAPPY HALLOWEEN! I hope you guys are enjoying the season by pigging out on candy and passing out what is left to the trick-or-treaters who wander over to my apartment. Why? Because I won't feel so bad about doing it, if I know I'm not alone. In any case, over the weekend, I decided to give in to my true nature and dressed up like a witch, and my boyfriend agreed to allow me to paint his face as a zombie and we drove all around Venice Saturday night, trying to find a party. The only problem was that I had forgotten my phone at home, as well as the street address, so we ended up coming back home, enjoying a Photo Booth photo shoot and watched TV. I feel like there was Taco Bell involved in there somewhere.

Oh yes, on to other news, which relates more directly to this blog. I got an email, that informed me of the following:
A recent Carnegie Mellon study used higher mathematics to answer the question: if you want to be informed about what the entire blogospohere is talking about, but you can only read 100 blogs (out of the millions available), which blogs should you read?After that I was informed that A Socialite's Life came in at number 82. Woo hoo! Go us! So, you can tell your friends that they should be reading us on a daily basis because we've been mathematically proven to be a fun source of gossip entertainment. It's true. I promise.
Additionally, I don't know if you guys have been keeping up with the latest trash-tastic addition to the reality dating show, "A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila," but you should be because first of all, it's on all the time on MTV, and secondly, who doesn't love the fake reality of reality shows? I'm especially fond of the way that Tila utters the phrase, "Unfortunately, you no longer have a shot at love," with the same exact inflection each and every time. I like to imagine her practicing doing so in the mirror. However, I'm a reality TV junkie and in fact find myself flipping past any shows that don't have a panel of judges on it, or people uttering the phrase, "I didn't come here to make friends!"
