Uh oh. The big, bright smile on Martina Hingis is being wiped clear off her face by allegations of cocaine abuse. The 27-year-old tennis star stated publicly that the claims being made that she tested positive for the substance at Wimbledon are false, as well as insulting.
"I find this accusation so horrendous, so monstrous that I've decided to confront it head-on by talking to the press," she said Thursday. "I am frustrated and angry. I believe that I am absolutely 100 percent innocent."Although Hingis is staunchly maintaining her innocence during the controversy that is now surrounding her, she is listing these allegations, along with the challenges of maintaining the physical rigors necessary for world-class tennis competition, as reasons for her retirement. Plus, it was getting in the way of her spending her days INHALING TONS OF BLOW. Ha! Totally kidding! But seriously, kids, drugs are bad. So is tennis. I'm not sure why, but just look at what it's done to Martina.

Why are they even concerned with drugs that DO NOT help your performance. I mean blow is nice and can give you a little pep but its not going to help your tennis game. You'd be up but not up to the task of whipping that ball around the court. If she wants to ride the rails on her time why do they care. Same thing with weed and football players. It does NOT help their game at all. The only reason why you would test if they are performing BADLY and you are trying to figure out why. It just seems like a waste of time. And yes I am pro-drugs. Do if you want don't if you don't want to. Involve no one but yourself and you are golden!
