But I do not fault you entirely if you are a product of the American school system. They ingnore Black History completely (unless of course it is something negative). So let me help you out a little. All Blacks/African, Jamaican, Haitians Americans, etc., originated in Africa. BTW, man regardless of color originated from African. If you and your "best friend" had attended one of the Black Colleges/Universities that you clealy have a distaste for, you would have learned history, black or otherwise. The education that you were denied in secondary school would have been bridge. The use of the N-word is never acceptable, no matter the color of the person uttering it. Ignorance is an equal opportunity seeker (as you have demonstrated). The use of the word on a basketball court by blacks is just as distasteful to enlightened blacks as when it is uttered by Whites. You have to understand the history of the word and its effect to gleam an understanding why African Americans get so upset when a White person uses the word toward a person of color. You are responsible for educating youself on a topic before speaking on it. Do not attempt to belittle HBCUs if you do not have personal experience. You and your friend could benefit from the education that a HBCU could provide. Do not intimate that only a White instidution can provide a quality education. Some of America's most esteemed scholars are products of HBCUs .

I went to National Enquirer's website and listened to the longer version of the tape. Wow, what a big deal to be made over something so small. The way it has been hyped up, every other word was the n word. Apparently very few people here are listening to the whole conversation and instead focusing on the fact that he said a racial slur. I am not saying it was ok to say it because it isn't but from what I understand from what is being said is that she was starting trouble with his wife first.
