Denzel Washington, Dame Helen Mirren, Jodie Foster, Pierce Brosnan, Kate Winslet and Kathy Bates joined each other on the red carpet for the 16th Annual Britannia Awards. Washington, who won the Excellence in Film Award said of the honor:
"It feels good, it's a very prestigious group of people I'll be standing next to in there so it's good to be among that group." The actor explained "I've spent a lot of time in England, in London in particular, and I love the country so to be recognised is a great honor."Additionally, Kate Winslet was honored as the British Artist of the year. I want that award. Let me guess, you have to be British. And do something. That's so unfair.
