David Beckham is raising his hands, acknowledging the adoration he's receiving from his fans, but is it for his handy footwork on the soccer field, or for his metrosexual good looks? Well, now there's another reason to pine for the delicate-featured footballer--his charitable efforts off the field. David Beckham, along with his L.A. Galaxy teammates soundly defeated the "Hollywood United," a team consisting of celebrities like Anthony LaPaglia ("Without a Trace") and Brandon Routh ("Superman Returns"). However, it was a victory for the victims of the recent Southern California wildfires, for whom the charity event raised $100,000. In addition to those funds, $7,500 was raised through donations and a silent auction for the Salvation Army and American Red Cross. According to David, it was a rewarding experience.
"It's great to play in a game that raises money for people who need it," he told reporters. "It's special."I'm all about people being inappropriately competitive, so it kind of saddened me that David wasn't more "IN YOUR FACE, LAPAGLIA! Looks like your defense disappeared 'Without a Trace'!" about the whole situation and actually used airquotes while around "Without a Trace" exactly as I wrote it here.

He looks like he's about to testify in that first pic.

David Beckham always has a cute smile. And he has such skills when he is at the field. I watched a DVD called "Really Bend It Like Beckham". It is wonderful. Watching it, I can learn how David Beckham do "banana kick". And I also learn how to shot the ball by the slow motion at his kicks. I found the deal for this DVD:
