Dog Isn't Black? (*eye roll*)

Dog the Bounty Hunter made his first post n-bomb appearance on Fox News' "Hannity & Colmes". This is what we call the Sad Sack I Didn't Mean It That Way tour. And it's all such bullshit. Though he does put a new entry in the Revealed Racist's Ridiculous Excuse Handbook. He claims he considered himself to be black. Heh.

In his first TV appearance since his hit A&E show was shelved following the leak of an eight-month-old phone conversation with his son in which he liberally uses the N-word, Duane "Dog" Chapman tells Fox News that he has always felt a certain kinship with black people and, as for using the N-word, "never did it out of hate."

"There's a special connection that I thought I had between me and black America," the emotional Dog the Bounty Hunter star told Fox's Hannity & Colmes. "And I used to say, 'I'm black, too.'

"In other words, my whole life I've been called a half-breed, a convict, king of the trailer trash, this and that...so when I stood there and said, 'I kind of know what you feel like, because I've been there, too,' that I felt that I could embrace and like, as brothers...say the word."

Dumbass looked in a mirror and realized he wasn't of African descent. Keep reading.

"I now learned I'm not black at all, and I never did it out of hate," Chapman continued. "This sounds so stupid. I always did it out of love. Other white guys would be like, 'Boy, who does Dog think he is? Dog can say that.' And black guys would be with me and walk with me and respect me.

"So, I went too far with that."

Uh yeah, especially when you were saying crap like this:

On the tape, which Tucker sold to the tabloid for a rumored $15,000, Chapman says that he's uncomfortable having a black girl around "because we use the word n---er sometimes here. I'm not going to take any chance ever in life of losing everything I've worked for 30 years because some drunken n---er heard us say n---er and turned us into the Enquirer magazine."
By the way, this family is kinda rough. Dog was in jail for murder, and the son in question did time for armed robbery. His son screwed him over SO bad. If Dog wasn't such a bigoted loser cretin, I'd almost wince for him. I seriously hope the girlfriend is sharing in some of that take. I hope she's hoisting an expensive martini to "your dumb crackerass father". Not only did he hit her with the n-bomb, but he called her a lush! Jerk!

I love how he's flipped the script on all those black rappers and comedians who say it's okay to use the N word because they're black and taking the power of that word away.

This is why we must stop using racially derogatory words,of all kinds. People like Dog are smart enought to use it to further their racist rants, public and private.

I believe other racists will now use this word and claim faux affinity to African American as their reason for feeling comfortable with this word.

I must be the only person who actually understands what he's talking about. I get it, and it makes sense.

There are so many things that seem to be acceptable to say in private ... why can't those things be public as well? Why can't we all handle who we really are? We're imperfect beings with prejudices, hates, fears etc. From time to time, we all say things that aren't so nice.

In my time, I've called Britney Spears white bread/trailer trash/cracker/honkey. I've also called Flava Flav a ni**er. Which one is acceptable to say in public? Why is it ok to say that and not the other one in public?

There is a difference between a white person and a cracker and a difference between a black person and a ni**er. When we all figure this out, we'll all be better off.

We used to live in an apartment, and of the four homes on our side, three of them were black families. We'd all sit outside at the end of the day, have a drink, shoot the shit, etc. I was amazed at how they All referred to each other as Ni**er. Constantly. It almost lulled me into a state of thinking I could say it too - but a little part of my brain told me that would not be a good idea. So I do understand when he says he thought it may have been ok since he felt a brotherhood or whatever he said. Everyone makes mistakes. I think the real tragedy here is that his own son sold him out like that. I imagine that hurts much worse than losing your tv show.

OK, wasn't his whole rant about him not wanting his son to be with a black woman? And now he considers himself black? STOP TALKING!
