It sounds like it's for the best, because the 56-year-old actress is ridiculously busy either way. She tearfully walked off the stage of "Dancing with the Stars," and pretty much hit the ground running to attend to other projects, which include a guest spot on The Oprah Winfrey Show, as well as being an official artist for the American team at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. When chatting with Us Weekly right after her dismissal from the reality dance competition, she talked about her other commitments facing her now that she's off the show.
"I have a painting due immediately.""I've literally got to get back to the drawing or painting board."
Despite the real-life drama faced by Seymour during her stint on the show--her Malibu home endured the dangers faced by the Southern California wildfires and her mother passed away--she says that she enjoyed her time on stage and plans to keep up the dancing.
"Yes, I have to!""This has just been an amazing experience for me -- amazing, and I love it so much."
I like the idea of Jane Seymour furiously painting and dancing in between guest spots on Oprah. Probably because that would be my dream life.
