Here's adorable Ricky Martin hitting the red carpet before the Latin Grammy Awards kicked off. The pop star won an award during the evening's festivities for his performance for MTV Unplugged, snagging the trophy for long form music video. In addition, he performed both "La Bomba" and "Lola" on stage in a medley, with the Blue Man Group providing their back-up dance services.
Oh and how that makes me think of Tobias Fünke. I wonder if at any point during the evening, Ricky noticed mysterious blue smudges on his shirt and smiled when he realized what it had meant when one of the guys had tagged him on the shoulder, yelling, "Blue you!" and then ran away.
Back to the awards, which were held in Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Events Center and the evening's performances exhibited typically-Vegas elements, like the combination of Ricky and the Blue Man Group, throughout the evening. Here's little Jaslene Gonzalez from ANTM, giving us tiger eyes and Marc Anthony's ex, Dayanara Torres. And I have no idea who this kid is, but I have a sneaking suspicion his shoes are more expensive than my car.
