Jon Bon Jovi is singing his leather-clad heart out to his fans, his first love, but it seems that perhaps a passion for politics might very well have him pelvic-thrust-dancing his way into the office of governor. Page Six reports that the soccer-mom-do sporting rocker might have his eye on the position of governor of New Jersey, explaining this as the reason behind his frequent fund-raising efforts for Democrats John Kerry and Al Gore. That's also the rumored reason for Bon Jovi's hiring of public relations expert David Dinkins, chief of staff for the former mayor, David Dinkins, as well as why Bon Jovi maintains a New Jersey residence. However, when contacted, Sunshine played the denial card, stating:
"Jon has been approached many times about running for office.""His day job is going too well, and this way he can keep the house."
Honestly, I really don't have an opinion on this too much. All I know is since the governator started here in California, we've had winds, wildfires, a crazy writers strike--basically, it's been like a wacky ride at Universal Studios.

I have been a fan for a lot of years, since the beginning of his cxareer..and he has always been politically inclined...If he decides to run, he can't do any worse than the other guys running out there.
