Jessica Alba has decided to escape from Los Angeles. She's leaving behind the sunshine and paparazzi for what she believes will be a more cultured experience. Jessica spoke highly of her stay in the big Apple, while shooting her film, "Awake in Harlem."
"I was like, `How do I move to New York?' It's a great city (and) everywhere you look there's art and restaurants and people are, like, on the move, it's very progressive."OK, I knew New York had all of those things, but I thought only smart people cared about that stuff. I never would have thought it would be something that might appeal to Jessica. She also added:
"People talk to you, they interact. It's not like that in L.A. In L.A. everyone's in their car and they're honking at you or spitting their cigarette or their gum out at you."Wait a minute, there's neither honking nor spitting of gum and/or cigarettes going on in New York? Well, then, I definitely don't want to move there now.

Greggie says:
Uggh...she speaks as if the words she uses are the first to come out of anyone's mouth. New York, progressive? It's always been progressive. And the cigarettes and gum comment? She's in for a rude awakening if she thinks that doesn't exists in NYC. I can't wait for her to be splashed by some car whizzing by whilst hailing a cab.
