In this picture of the talented, yet troubled singer, Amy Winehouse, I'm not sure if she's singing, or screaming, because the photo was snapped at a recent performance of hers that was so garbled and off-kilter, that she was eventually booed off. The gig was at the Birmingham NIA, lasting ninety minutes, and came after Amy had spent the morning visiting her husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, who is currently in jail awaiting trial for charges related to his alleged attempts to fix a trial. The performance was the opening night of her UK tour and with pictures here of what appear to be Amy finger-banging her own mouth, I'm guessing it didn't go so great. She was slurring, stumbling through the lyrics, interjecting her hubby's name, "Blakey," here and there in her songs and finally collapsed in tears after being soundly booed by the crowd. Just before stumbling off-stage amidst the boos, she had this to say to the audience.
"Let me tell you something. First of all, if you're booing you're a mug for buying a ticket."Second, to all those booing, just wait til my husband gets out of incarceration. And I mean that."
Oh lord, she's now threatening an entire audience. The saddest about all of this is that she's got more talent in that tooth she lost mysteriously, than I've got in my whole being and she's WASTING IT. Sigh. And seriously, she needs to get her fingers out of her mouth. They probably still taste like jail, for God's sake.

You pay to see assholes perform if they are really good at what they do, and you pay to see performers who have lost their edge if they are good people that you've developed a lot of respect and admiration for.
So why does anyone pay to see Amy Winehouse?

I'd say the junkies I step over on the sidwalks in the morning, as I walk to work, who have no food, money, shelter, or hope are WAY worse off than someone in show biz destroying herself. She HAS the resources to save herself. She's just too [... insert adjective here...] to do it.

Well i think it is extremely ignorant of this article to put such stereotypes on a person none of us have everr had a converstaion with. Therefore, we know of no reasonings towards her behavior and emotionless performance. People need to keep in mind that before a person is a performer, they are a human being. Human beings differ with life experience, we know nothing of hers so judgement is really the tool of the fool right now. You would jump down someone's throat the INSTANT they made a conclusion of you without even knowing you personally, so be considerate of the laws of nature and dont do to others what would annoyingly hate to be done to you. Amy winehouse was a breathing being before she put out singles....we dont know what is shaping her life beyond the stage. Ok about not receiving a performance wotrth the money paid for in tickets, but taking it as far as to make judgements about how she "probably was thinking" or what drug she "probably was using". Be aware of the cruelty in your nature when humiliating an artist for not fulfilling your expectations. Who the f are we as the audience to draw conclusions about her personal business? We dont bring pleasure when shes down?? therefore, beyond the stage, who are we to judge how she lives??? seriously my fellow people of this nation!! seriously...the nosey, closeminded, ignorant mind frames have brought me down to humiliation of this society we live in...
