"Man, court is exhausting! Anyone down for going out for a burger later? I know this great joint down the street--and then when we're done, we can clean out the register." Oh, O.J., your thoughts are an open book. And now, a justice of the peace has ordered the novelist/murderer (allegedly, of course) to stand trial for the charges of armed robbery, kidnapping and some other stuff stemming from the recent incident in Vegas. And this is what the esteemed Mr. Simpson had to say of this new legal development.
"If I have any disappointment, it's that I wish a jury was here. As always, I rely on the jury system."Yeah, juries, if I were you, I'd be highly offended by that last statement. In addition to his latest attempt to confess his "hypothetical" murders in his book, he's also apparently been bending the ear of anyone who will listen. On a recent flight from Sin City to Florida, the former football star couldn't stop prattling on to anyone who would listen, going on about his current legal woes. He chatted about his musical preferences, citing Stevie Wonder and Mick Jagger as some of his favorites, talked about the origin of Dos Equis Mexican beer, tried to sleep and when he couldn't, started hitting on a girl sitting near him. According to the Page Six source:
I spent much of the flight pondering the feeling of sitting five feet from, and listening to, a killer. If I didn't know OJ was a murderer, I would have thought him the most outgoing guy. But knowing what I know, he came off as desperate for friends and people to talk to."Lord, imagine yourself in a "Lost"-type situation, where you end up crashing on an island with O.J. as one of the other survivors. Actually, don't--it's too scary.
