As we reported yesterday, Nick Lachey and his girl Vanessa Minnillo celebrated their birthdays together at LAX in Vegas on Wednesday night. Nick feels that 2007 has been a "rebuilding year" for him. His divorce with that bimbo from hell Jessica Simpson was finalized over a year ago.
"I don't think you can get much worse than [2006]," he tells Extra in an interview airing next week. "The last year has been good. 2007 has been a rebuilding year for me."I'm learning things about who I am as a man," he added. "I think it's exciting. Any time you learn and grow, it's an exciting time."
He's also currently working on the follow-up to his last album "What's Left Of Me" which was a sad-sack concept album about getting dumped by your dumbass wife. Damn, if you want to hear a dumb jock moan badly about how his life sucks now that his marriage imploded, pick that one up. Nick's old school in that he's always walking on a beach in his video and wailing about his feelings, in like a white button down and jeans with no shoes. And the sun's always setting and he's holding his hands in front of him, gesticulating dramatically. Seriously. he's painful. But he can rock your world in a hot tub, girl.

'Wailing about his feelings' , that is so funny. God, he's so cheesey. Does he stare out to sea before picking up a pebble and making it bounce 14 times off the water? Then he drops to his knees and grasps his head in his hands. How many of those videos have been made?
I think he should go for originality, while he's on his knees, he shouldgrab a handful of sand and shove it in his mouth and while he's choking on it, a jet ski ploughs out of the ocean and crashes into him and then, alas, he is no more. "What's Left Of Me" , a few broken bones...

I'm just gonna say it... Why are these two famous? I know they both really, really want to be, but neither have what it takes. I think they'd both be happier living in a nice midwestern town, married with kids. Time to give up the fame dream.
