The floppy-haired musician wants you to know that despite his seeming inability to maintain an allegiance to a single girlfriend for too long, John Mayer has no problem confidently professing his feelings for the musical stylings of Justin Timberlake. On Mayer's blog, he said he believed "pop music is on a hot streak right now," citing on his blog in particular, a track on Timberlake's most recent album, "LoveStoned/I Think She Knows Interlude."
"I spend the first 3:30 [minutes] preparing for the awesomeness to come. Then I yell at the speakers, 'Make this 4 minutes long and put it on the next disc!'"You just know Jessica Simspon's got to be at least a little bitter at the fact that John couldn't even admit that the two of them were ever dating, but has no problem getting all mushy about a former boy band member.
