Them kiddies pass right out with enough spiked Mountain Dew in their bottles, ya'll! The Louis Vuitton company has succeeded in officially halting Sony BMG and MTV Online from showing Britney Spears' "Do Something" video ever again. Who wanted to see it? In the video, she rolls up in a Hummer decorated with Louis Vuitton's fabric design and logo and they weren't having it. Britney herself wasn't named in the injunction but that video is now going to go the way of the Rolling Stones' "Cocksucker Blues", Johnny Depp's "The Brave" movie, and various cuts of "Dune" and "Blade Runner" - you're never gonna see it again. Well, unless you look here really quick. Like, right now! By the way, the shot of Louis Vuitton in question is on the screen for about two seconds and it's barely noticeable. That is if you can distract yourself from Britney whipping her wig around. It's hard too, because the wig in the video looks slightly healthier than it does nowadays and it's nice to catch a glimpse of Britney before she totally fractured. MTV Online and Sony BMG were found guilty of "violating counterfeiting laws", but sources aren't sure how the ruling is going to be upheld. A mass burning of DVD's and dismantling YouTube because this is so damn important. *rolls eyes*
In other Britney news (and there's always something going on in other Britney news), Dr. Drew Pinsky of "Loveline" fame is saying Britney is a straight-up addict. Do you care? If so, follow the jump.
Dr. Drew says that Britney's addiction problem (to Starbuck's, definitely) is "indisputable".
US: A person can't be accepted for post-partum depression? DP: If you go to a psychiatric hospital for post-partum depression, you go to the psychiatric hospital, you don't go to the chemical dependency program. She is a drug addict. It is an indisputable point."And she has a parent with an addiction. Just by having a parent with addiction puts you at about a 50% risk for having your own addiction problem. But, just because you have a genetic heritage doesn't mean you're going to get an addiction. A childhood trauma, physical abuse, sexual abuse, abandonment, will also propel a person towards full-blown addiction.
Damn, he really lays it out there for us. Britney did swear up and down that she was in the rehab under false pretenses, and that her problem was actually post-partum depression. Which was kind of a likely story, right? Draw your own conclusions. All I know is that everyone in her circle is getting Starbuck's gift cards this holiday season. She's there enough, and it makes for the perfect gift on the go.

I personally would dispute the point about admission to a treatment program equaling being an addict. I think that puts too much responsibility in the hands of the program staff, whereas I've seen from personal experience that they are not always the experts they make themselves out to be. Seriously, because one program's intake coordinator decides to let you in, that's incontrovertible evidence that you're an addict, for life? I don't think so.
That being said, I do think all signs point to Britney having some sort of serious problem. She's probably one of those dual diagnosis types. Has her judge, or commissioner, or whatever he is, ordered a psyche eval yet? If not, why the hell not??
