The people Britney Spears is surrounding herself with at the moment appear to have as sketchy of a past as she does. Seen in the car here with Brit-Brit is her buddy of the moment, Sam lufti, who was by Brit's side during her birthday celebration that took place at an event for something completely different and also has been taking some extreme measures to avoid testifying in Britney's custody case. And now, more shady information is surfacing about this "producer," who appears to have a spotty work history, as well as two restraining orders against him. Friends of Spears (who aren't Sam lufti) are worried about the singer's choice of companionship and worry that she is being manipulated. According to an inside source, "She's so desperate for a friend that it's easy once you get in there." Ewww, I feel like that double-entendre is so embarrassingly accurate. Also, we have some pictures of another dude that Britney's been spotted with. I have no idea if his history is as ominous-sounding as lufti's, but at least he's way cuter.
