Scarlett Johansson is taking on "US Weekly" because they accused her of being an "A List Nip/Tuck", and of having her beak done. "US" ran a blurb (probably located in a colorful square with large type and sounding appropriately breathess) quoting Scarlett as saying "I definitely believe in plastic surgery. I don't want to be an old hag. There's no fun in that." Well, yeah - that doesn't deserve any legal action to cover up. That's the damn truth. Ask an old hag. She doesn't want to be an old hag! And as fun as those Lark mobile things look? Not that fun! They can't even get up to 25! Scarjo, 23, said via spokesbeing that "I have always been straightforward with the press regarding my body image and I am very concerned that my fans (and perhaps even my employers) will feel mislead. Thus, I feel compelled to take immediate legal action against US Weekly." She needs to focus more on the acting ability than the nose job accusations. Ever since "Lost in Translation", she's been phoning it in and acting snooty. "US Weekly" quoted a Hollywood plastic surgeon as saying that he estimates that 60% of women in Hollywood undergo some sort of plastic surgery procedure. One look at Teri Hatcher's waxy face should tell you that he's truthful.

Zekers says:
Something tells me her opinion of herself far surpasses reality...a legend in her own mind.
devil says:
Scarlett swears she's had no plastic surgery - okay, fine. She's 23 and just might be telling the truth.
Once she's over 25, I won't believe a word of it. Every famous person over 25 has had some sort of cosmetic surgery. What I hate is that some of the stupider ones STILL deny it even when it is SO obvious. Just admit it and move on.
Andy says:
Good lord! The woman is 23?
I've never seen a 23 year old who needed plastic surgery to keep from looking like an "old hag".
