Leonardo DiCaprio was presented with a Golden Star award at the the seventh Marrakesh Film Festival in Morocco. Man, they will have a film festival on a damn glacier if they can get some celebs to show up for it. Just project it on the glacier and whirlybird a few names in. The North Face can sponsor. Leo's pal and collaborator, genius film director Martin Scorcese, presented him with the award. Martin described his amazement at Leo's "clear and complete commitment to his work." The two of them have done several movies together, including "The Aviator" and "The Departed". They will team up to shoot the film adaption of Dennis Lehane's "Shutter Island" next year. It's the story of two cops trying to solve the disappearance of a mental patient from an island asylum. It's a creepy-ass novel, but I hope they repair the ending.
